The ABFAS Board of Directors is proud to introduce important updates to the Case Review process that potentially allow candidates to become Board Certified sooner after residency.

The American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery is pleased to announce that Angela J. McGoff, ICE-CCP, will serve as the next Chief Executive Officer. She will begin in her new role on July 14, 2025.

At their recent House of Delegates meeting, the student delegation of the American Podiatric Medical Students’ Association presented ABFAS leadership with the 2024 Partner of the Year Award.

On March 27, ABFAS President Michelle L. Butterworth, DPM, FACFAS, presented the Michael L. Stone, DPM, Outstanding Professional Conduct Awards to nine exceptional individuals.

This weekend, the APMA House of Delegates will vote on several propositions that seek to split the autonomy of the Council on Podiatric Medical Education. ABFAS leadership will attend to share our concerns.

Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science as the winners of the 2024 ABFAS Surgeons of Tomorrow Student Conference Scholarship Contest.
