Announcing the 2026 ABFAS Election Results

The American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) is proud to announce the results of the 2026 Board of Directors election. 

 

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Keith Cook of New Jersey to his first term on the ABFAS Board of Directors. Two incumbents, Dr. Timothy Mineo of Oregon and Dr. Scott Nelson of Nebraska, will continue their service on the board. All three terms will begin on September 1, 2026, and will end on August 31, 2029.

Thank you to all the Diplomates who took the time to vote. Of the 7,744 eligible Diplomates, 19.8% cast their vote in this year's election.
