Biography:
Timothy J. Mineo, DPM, is an ABFAS board-certified foot and ankle surgeon who has been practicing in Portland, Oregon, since 2010. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and completed a PM&S-36 surgical residency at Legacy Health.
Dr. Mineo has exemplified a longstanding dedication to advancing the profession through active involvement in various aspects of podiatric medicine, including board service, examination and certification initiatives, fellowship education at the Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center’s Foot and Ankle Fellowship Program, and national instructional courses. His work reflects a strong commitment to maintaining high standards, supporting lifelong learning, and helping shape the future of foot and ankle surgery.
Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Mineo is passionate about education, mentorship, and innovation that enhance both the profession and patient care. He is committed to continued service that promotes excellence, fosters collaboration, and advances progress within podiatric medicine.
Outside of podiatry, Dr. Mineo is passionate about maintaining an active lifestyle. He recently retired from competitive racing as a master elite cyclist but continues to enjoy time on the bike, skiing, playing drums, and spending time with his family.Personal Statement:
It has been a true privilege to serve on the Board, and in my current role as Secretary/Treasurer. I am grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with such dedicated colleagues. Throughout my tenure on the Board, I have been deeply committed to upholding the integrity of our organization and supporting the vital work that directly affects our members and the patients we serve.
I am seeking re-election as an incumbent because I am passionate about maintaining the highest professional standards, ensuring the Board remains fiscally responsible, and thoughtful about representing the voices of our members. I recognize that our members depend on our efforts to uphold the value and significance of certification, especially as we navigate an increasingly complex and challenging healthcare landscape.
If re-elected, I will continue to devote my time, experience, and insight to ensure our Board remains forward-thinking, accountable, and focused on advancing our profession. Thank you for your trust and for the opportunity to continue serving.
