Self-Assessment (SAE) Examination

The SAE consists of multiple-choice questions, including those based on visual presentations. Following each question are at least four possible answers. Each question has only ONE best answer.

Exam Objective: Demonstrates the physician has the fundamental diagnostic skills, medical knowledge, and clinical judgment to provide quality care. 

Exam Type: Computer-adaptive, multiple-choice exam.

Exam Structure:125 questions, 180 minutes.
