Recertification Examination

Both recertification examinations consist of multiple-choice questions, including those based on visual presentations. Following each question are at least four possible answers. Each question has only ONE best answer.

Foot Surgery Recertification Examination

Exam Objective: Demonstrates the physician has the fundamental diagnostic skills, medical knowledge, and clinical judgment to provide quality care. 
Exam Type: Computer-adaptive, multiple-choice exam. 
Exam Structure: 125 questions, 180 minutes

RRA Surgery Recertification Examination

Exam Objective: Demonstrates the physician has the fundamental diagnostic skills, medical knowledge, and clinical judgment to provide quality care. 
Exam Type: Linear, multiple-choice exam. 
Exam Structure: 100 questions, 180 minutes


Self-assessment Examination (SAE) 

The SAE consists of multiple-choice questions, including those based on visual presentations. Following each question are at least four possible answers. Each question has only ONE best answer The examination will contain Foot and RRA Surgery content.

Exam Objective: Demonstrates the physician has the fundamental diagnostic skills, medical knowledge, and clinical judgment to provide quality care. 
Exam Type: Computer-adaptive, multiple-choice exam.
Exam Structure: 125 questions, 180 minutes.
